HUGE SPRING/SUMMER HAUL ~ New Look, Amazon, Boohoo, Disney and More!

Okay so recently I've gone on a bit of a mad one, and thought I'd share all the stuff I bought, I blame exams for all the stress buys. BUT I would like to really stress this is a collective haul since the middle of February, that's 4 months worth, some is for college, some is because I had a mental break down and some is because I have no Summer clothes.
First I'll go with all the none clothes related things, my first and worst / favourite purchase is the little crocodile in the top image, he was £12 from the Disney store and I bought him because of how much I love the Disney Faries, they're my fave. I also bought a bag £2.50  the new Tinkerbell Movie £10 and a Tinkerbell drinks bottle £5.

I also bought 6 EOS Balms because they are cheaper on Amazon and I love them, along with The Last
5 Years £7, Wonderlust £3.95, Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier, Elizabeth is Missing by Emma Healy, Bloody Chamber by Angela Carter, The Handmades Tale by Margaret Atwood, The Girl On The Train by Paula Hawkins.
So I may have bought a lot of clothes so much so I couldn't take a nice picture, see??

The first place I shopped at and mainly shopped at is new look, the first thing I got was a pair of trainers like the ones below except in blue, even though I kind of wish I got them in pink but now they're all sold out in both colours, I got them for £19.99 but then they were put into sale for £11, I also picked up this cute white a line skirt, I really like the fabric it feels really good quality, but if you have a larger hip to waist ratio buy the size up because it has a tight underskirt, £14.99. Next I got a coral lace sports bra, I have the same one in yellow it's the comfiest thing and coral is my favourite colour so I had to have it, especially for £9.99, the watermelon clutch is kind of an impulse buy, but it's so quirky and I love it, £12.99. I also got an over sized shirt, so easy to wear £17.99, these beautiful mint green courts £19.99, a floral playsuit which I actually bought 3 sizes too big to compensate for my bum but it has a tie waist so it's fine. The next thing I picked up without thinking about it, it was £5 in the sale and it is so flattering. I also got a sleeveless black coat for £19.99 and a checked grid shirt dress for £19.99 which I think is also in the sale.

The next place I shopped at was Boohoo, I first got a smock jersey dress like the one below except I got it in deep purple but I couldn't find the image of that one and that was I think £12, it's so easy to just throw on and wear to college. The next thing I bought was the bat-winged sleeved skater shirt dress for £15. The next dress is a bit of a guilty purchase, i saw a friend wear a similar one so I bought it too, oops, this was £15. The next two items I bought because they had my name in the title, but I loved them, the paisley skater dress is such a nice shape but it doesn't compensate for boobs, so if you're on the breast-y side, maybe buy the size up, £18. And last is this beautiful sleeveless jacket, (yes I bought a fluffy one and a none fluffy one), it can literally make any lazy outfit look glam, my favourite so far is with a 3/4 black jersey top and black skinny jeans with converse or uggs.

For a very long time I really wanted a pussy bow shirt and MissGuided was the only place I could fine one I loved, this was in the sale for £18. I also got a plain white top (so I could get free delivery) but also basics are my favourite thing to wear because I'm not very good in the morning and I think it was £8.

I also got a few things from Gap Outlet, they legit always have some sort of sale on so I can't remember the prices of these, but I got some legging skimmer jeans in a light denim colour, a really nice summery jean colour, and all my jeans are black and dark blue so it makes a nice change. I also got this white shirt with roll sleeves, again because I love basics and it's something nice I can wear to work.

At the moment I really love Topshop's duster coats, the one I initially liked they only had in a 12, 14 and 16 so I tried the 12 and it completely drowned me, so I went for this one instead, I'm really glad I got this one it feels like it's really classic and timeless so I can use it for a very long time. This was £89 but I got this on a day where they had a student discount offer.

I think that's me done for now, that should keep me going until August when I have to buy some autumn bits.**

**This is all my opinion and bought with my money.

Let me know what've you been buying recently?

Lush | Haul

One shop I have to go into everytime I'm near is Lush, I love everything in it and it smells so good and plus 40% of the products a glittery so that's definitely a bonus. So I thought it'd be a good idea to do a little lush tag and show what I picked up for Easter and the stuff I already have and love.

So first are a few bits pi picked up from the Easter collection,
- Pot o'Gold, this actually smells divine, it smells like butterscotch and that's a beautiful smell
- Golden Egg, I haven't actually used this yet but I do love a bit of a glittery bath and if its anything like sparkles pumpkin, we're good
- Bunch of Carrots, I have actually used some of this and I did not expect it to make the amount of bubbles it did, would definitely reccommend
- Hoppity Poppity, also not used this yet but I'm expecting big things after all the santas I used at Christmas
- Easter Egg, I am a big fan of the dragon egg bath bomb, it was actually the first lush product I tried so I'm hoping this is the same but pink
- Rose Bubblebar, this smells beautiful, I've started putting it on my desk when revising to encourage me, very excited to try
- Immaculate Eggception Pink, how exciting is a bath bom that has two more bathbombs in it! Very exciting in my world so that's why I picked that one up

A few of my fave classics would be the Mask of Magniminty, it clears my skin up literally in like a day, if you've had a bit of a exam stress breakout like me, I would seriously reccommend you use this, they half in size after one use. Whoosh shower jelly is also a must during exam period, it smells so fresh and really help wake you up, plus it's really interesting because it's a jelly and I love that. Another love of mine are bubble bars in general, every single one smells beautiful.

What I'm not happy about though it's that when you order Lush online, they've stopped sending the clear bags, but that's my only complaint.

P.s. Anything I should try? Be sure to let me know your favourites

Primark Haul | Spring 2015

After going for a cute little Nandos I convinced my friends to come shopping with me but we only had time for primark, which is cool because that means I get to do a primark haul, how exciting.

The first thing I picked up was the hat I'm wearing on the left, I love hats so much but I've been a bit too self conscious to wear it at the minute because a friend of mine said "do people still wear fedoras or is it like a croc situation" to which I didnt know what to say, but I will wear a fedora if I want to πŸ˜‚ £7

I also picked up the softest pj pants, the only pattern they had left was leopard print but they're comfy so I won't complain too much. On a side note, does anyone else have to buy a size up to compensate for bum size? £6

I got 3 sports type things, a blue sports bra I picked this up because it was in the wrong place but when it said £4 I just sort of kept hold of it, I also got a ribbed workout top for £2 in clearance and a skipping rope for £2.50

I also got a coconut bubble bath in clearance for £1 some £4 sandle because I've never owned any sandle a before and a really pretty black dress, which they also did in white which my friend considered getting so we would match but I think she wanted to go home, another time.

A few things I didn't pick up which I wish I did were some of the candles in the home section that smelt so good, £3-5, some tan gladiator sandles, £7 (i think), the White version of the black dress, £5 a blanket cardigan, some more socks and some tan brogues but they sold out in my size 😟

NEW YEAR SALE HAUL

To welcome in the new year, since I had no plans of my own, (except working) I decided to do a little retail therapy.

First thing I ordered was some black to white obmre trainers from River Island £28, thesenarenactually the comfiest trainers I've ever owned, not that I've owned many, but still, really looking forward to workouts in these. Next I got a yellow scallop hem top from New Look £6, for £6 how could I not, it's such a nice length, boxy and really flattering. I also browsed the new in and found this fun airtex sports bra £9.99, I also found a nice pinky colour skater dress, with a flattering elastic waist £24.99, and last I was looking for a cute bracelet ring chain and I found this really nice one for just £6.99 and comes with loads of midi rings and normal rings too. Then I hopped onto DVDs and ordered New Girl Season 3, Amazon £12.99, I really love this show it's one of the few that can make me laugh out loud on my own in  my bedroom. For Christmas my family started a MAC pallet form me so I bought a few shades, £10 each per refil pallet and I got 'all that glitters' 'rhetrospeck' and 'bronze' for myself with a lipstick in 'velvet teddy' £15.50 and a lip liner in 'hover' £12.50. Also got some croc skater shoes Topshop £20, I can wear for work, 'salt and pepper' knit jumper for £30, so slouchy and comfy with an oversized checked shirt also £30, an october birthstone necklace in the sale for just £4.50 and much needed black Jamie jeans, £40, so flattering, so comfy. Last but certainly not least I got a new coat from Boohoo £30 in the sale, I couldn't fit it on the picture so I'll just insert the image from the website underneath, this coat is so nice, such a love.y colour, however what I will say is that within 10 mins the buttons all dropped off, nothing too major though.

Clothes Show Live! HUGE HAUL + New Beauty Bits

On Tuesday the 9th of December I went to the Clothes Show in Birmingham which is basically one massive shopping trip and a cat walk, and if you like that sort of thing, it's heavan. We got there at about 11 which gave us a good 2 1/2 hours of shopping before watching the show and then we had an hour after the show. The show itself was so good, I'd never been to a cat walk before and it was amazing, there were dancers, models to really loud music and some people from made in Chelsea so everyones self esteem went down the toilet but still amazing none the less.

Here are a few things I bought:

Everything was soo cheap, in a good way, I got some public desire shoes for £27 and they're so comfy and pretty 😍 a Barry M goody bag worth £65 for £10, a Lee Stafford goody bag for £5, W7 for £10, Rimmel for £5 and Models own for £10! Everything was such a good price.

I've also included a few little beauty bits in this haul I got because there's not enough for an individual one.

Reccently I've found my hair being really itchy, turns out I'm allergic to fabric softener but I picked thi treseme shampoo and conditioner from ASDA and after 3 uses I feel like it's already started to help! I also got not your mothers way to grow conditioner £6 because my hairdresser cut my hair shorter than I would have liked so it'd be nice if it helped encourage growth and I'll definitely write a review soon! I also bought this FACEFINITY primer from max factor as I've found my makeup coming of my face leaving it blotchy and as a result got a free gift worth £35! I keep finding myself looking at EOS balms so it just slipped it in my basket and clicked pay before i could say do I really need this, really moisturising, bit pricey at £6 though. I also decided to get a light up Budha because you know, why not, trying to reduce my anger but the lighty up switch broke now it's just a blue Budha. I actually only got the soap and glory spray as it was in a 3 for 2 and I wanted to get my friend two of the products. Next is a fast dry OPI top coat, it dries really fast but does make the nail more inclined to chip because of how brittle it is, and last is a MAC lipstick I got for a friend but decided to keep, oops sorry.

Mini Haul

I kind of have a shopping addiction.
I can't help it, things call to me and I have to have them, so I thought I'd share with you what I bought and how much I like it etc.

Here are just a select few of all the things I've bought, actually, it's everything that isn't clothes or jewellery or has private details on like my NUS card (wooo).

First off; Real Techniques Core Collection and Complexion Sponge ~ everyone always raves about Real Techniques and so far I actually really like the stuff I've used but I can't get out the habit of using ecotools because that's what I've been using since I was like 12, they were my first ones so it's habit but I do like a change and I do like these brushes / sponge and will be getting more.

Benefit ChaCha Balm & Baby Lips Electro Oh! Orange ~ I do really like the chacha balm it's very moisturising and smells very refreshing but not over powering, so it's good but doesn't add any colour, not that that's a bad thing but if you wanted a tint don't go for that. And the baby lips hasn't actually been opened yet because I saved it for the picture, oops, more to come with that I guess.

Bourjois Dissolvant and Healthy Balance Powder ~ these two have now become staple pieces for me! the Dissolvant gets nail varnish off so easy and your fingers smell so good after, and the powder gives me a really good matte finish in any foundation I've tried and stays on for quite a while.

Nina L'eau
This smells so good, it's the perfect blend of fruity and floral and it was actually pretty cheap, at John Lewis it was £24.99 for the 30ml but it was also that price for the 50ml which I don't get but I went for it and I love having different smells and stuff.

Garnier Micellar Water ~ I actually only bought this because I thought my sister had taken my Nivea Micellar one  to France with her, she hadn't, but I found that out after, and I found this one in boots after seeing VelvetGh0st use it on her YouTube and I actually really like it, it gets make up off so easy and it was quite cheap considering the size.

Charles Worthington Shine Booster ~ I only found out reccently that Charles Worthington had repackaged and I remember I had this a while back and it smelt so good, however I do think it's a little bit different though, yet to try it.

Urban Fudge Dry Shampoo ~ I've wanted this for a while and it smells so good I couldn't resist when boots had a 3 for 2 on, quite pricey though but my hair does feel refreshed and smell good, I am the worst at remembering to wash it, oops.

Lee Stafford Hair Growth Mask ~ I love the smell of Lee Stafford products it's subtle yet beautiful, I got this because I had the leave in treatment and it really helped to grow my hair a bit longer so I thought I'd try the hair mask this time now I've ran out and I can't wait to see results.

Babyliss Turbo Shine ~ basically because I don't like to share, πŸ˜‚

Back To School - //Essentials//😴

I started sixth form last Tuesday and I've fastly discovered that there are certain things that I need and I'm gonna share them with you in this blog post incase you've just started too;

First off, you're gonna need a huge bag for all the stuff you need to carry around and fit in it, mine was £19.99 from New Look and looks quite pretty I think, always a bonus, if you need a bigger bag, i reccommend New Look! To go in your bag gotta have, a pencil case, mines like a clear orange one from WHSmiths for £7 and I've filled it with all sorts of stationary e.g. Sharpies, colours, pens and pencils etc. Note pads for any lesson and although I don't recommend taking it everywhere a laptop to type things up and revise on. You're also going to need lever arch files for every subject so far it's been a week and I've been given soo much leaflets and booklets galore. If your place of study doesn't provide you with a journal, get one, it'll help you keep everything organised and keep you up to date whether it's with school or social events because being a teenager is hard balancing everything. Paracetamol is always a good shout too, never know when that headache is going to hit! It's always good to read ahead too so make sure you have all the books you'll need for your classes.

You may not know this but you also have a life outside of school take your camera everywhere to make memories with, obviously use your frees for homework and study time but also it's okay to have a break, I reccomend dedicating a night to yourself for pampering, listen to music, run a lush bath, moisturise, take care of yourself, just use that time to rejuvenate. You should also consider an emergency supplies pack, with pads, tampons, emergency make up, hand sanitiser, plasters, bobbles, pins, you know the drill. Keeping yourself hydrated is also key too, I personally forget to drink water so I bought a tinkerbell bottle from the disney store for £5 to make drinking more fun. Student ID is also your best friend if you're a shopaholic like me, which bris me onto clothes, my sixthform dress code is quite formal so a black blazer is a good shout because you can throw it on on top of anything and look smart, but also if you dress nice, you'll feel good hence you can focus more on your work, but I must add, go for comfy shoes, there's quite a bit of walking. And never forget your key so I have mine on a star wars keyring so I can't forget.

Then when that's all done, I think you deserve a nap, just get out a blanket and go for it.

Rachel xoxo
