Lush | Haul

One shop I have to go into everytime I'm near is Lush, I love everything in it and it smells so good and plus 40% of the products a glittery so that's definitely a bonus. So I thought it'd be a good idea to do a little lush tag and show what I picked up for Easter and the stuff I already have and love.

So first are a few bits pi picked up from the Easter collection,
- Pot o'Gold, this actually smells divine, it smells like butterscotch and that's a beautiful smell
- Golden Egg, I haven't actually used this yet but I do love a bit of a glittery bath and if its anything like sparkles pumpkin, we're good
- Bunch of Carrots, I have actually used some of this and I did not expect it to make the amount of bubbles it did, would definitely reccommend
- Hoppity Poppity, also not used this yet but I'm expecting big things after all the santas I used at Christmas
- Easter Egg, I am a big fan of the dragon egg bath bomb, it was actually the first lush product I tried so I'm hoping this is the same but pink
- Rose Bubblebar, this smells beautiful, I've started putting it on my desk when revising to encourage me, very excited to try
- Immaculate Eggception Pink, how exciting is a bath bom that has two more bathbombs in it! Very exciting in my world so that's why I picked that one up

A few of my fave classics would be the Mask of Magniminty, it clears my skin up literally in like a day, if you've had a bit of a exam stress breakout like me, I would seriously reccommend you use this, they half in size after one use. Whoosh shower jelly is also a must during exam period, it smells so fresh and really help wake you up, plus it's really interesting because it's a jelly and I love that. Another love of mine are bubble bars in general, every single one smells beautiful.

What I'm not happy about though it's that when you order Lush online, they've stopped sending the clear bags, but that's my only complaint.

Best Eye-Liner's for Winged Looks | Review

One of my biggest problems is getting the right eyeliner for winged eyes. Winged eyeliner is one of my favourite makeup looks for every day and it can seriously be so easy so this post is just a little review on each of my favourite eyeliner pens incase anyone else is having the same problem I had.

1) Bourjois Mega Liner in Ultra Black - this one is the one I find myself reaching for the most often, the tip isn't the normal eyeliner pen tip, it is sort of like a highlighter and this one last so long and is really easy to apply, however for a while I found it hard to get that perfect point on the end of this because of the shape of the nib.

2) L'orรฉal Super Liner Perfect Slim - the overall colour of this comes out slightly grey but still a good liner if you want the thin subtle line and really easy to create the pointed flick, for a very long time I used this in combination with the Bourjois to get that jet black line with a even point.

3) Benefit They're Real Push-Up Liner - I've never had an eyeliner so different as the push-up liner, it actually took me half a year to be able to use it but when you get to grips with it, it's your best friend, except when you're trying to get it off, it just doesn't want to leave you face. But really good for long wear and making a prominent line.

4) Smashbox Limitless Liquid Liner Pen - My all time favourite eyeliner. I've never loved an eyeliner more, but because it's so expensive and running out I'm trying not to use it as much :(. It's so easy to use and always looks perfect and literally takes like 5 seconds per eye.

5) Maybelline Master Precise Liquid Eyeliner - this is basically a pretty good dupe of the Smashbox one, it glides on really easy even though the tip does runout quite quick so be sure to use the side

I thought I'd try this sort of blog since I've never done it before, let me know what you thought

The Past Two Weeks

For once, I've actually been pretty busy the past couple of weeks, I've gone to parties, had work, had mocks, college so I'm feeling pretty productive about everything right now, but of course I'm going to crash and burn soon so I thought I'd share a few things in picture form that have been going on during to explain why I've been awol on my blog.

So basically I've been to 2 parties, shopping, got a new coat, working, finished an amazing book ( to come soon ) and a cheeky look at the lush Easter range all while having consecutive mocks.

Reccent DVD Spree | New Purchases

I got a bit click happy on Amazon reccently so I thought I'd share what I bought if, I love it or if I hate it or just not watched it yet (oops).

1) Daredevil (2003) I bought this as my family and I are on a bit of a marvel hype, quite like this but I did expect a bit more to happen
2) Cheaper By The Dozen 2 (2005) I actually lost my copy of this and who doesn't love cheaper by the dozen right? It's such a feel good film
3) Now You See Me (2013) I'm a Mark Ruffalo kind of a girl
4) What's Your Number (2008) I bought this for multiple reasons, I'm in love with captain America and my friends started watching it but I had to leave, this has very quickly become one of my top 5 movies, I adore it
5) Elektra (2004) bought for the same reason as 1)
6) Divergent (2014) I was meant to see this with a friend but she went with a girl who wasn't very nice to me, awks, not got round to watching yet, exciting stuff
7) Before I Go To Sleep (2013) I do love a good psychological film and this one is perfect, didn't see what happened coming at all (no spoilers๐Ÿ˜‰)
8) You May Not Kiss The Bride (2013) wasn't what I thought it'd be, it was okay but had I seen it before I wouldn't have bought it
9) Sisterhood Of The Travelling Pants 2 (2008) in my eyes you can't fault the sisterhood of the travelling pants so ofcourse I bought this, and when I heard a rumour that they were considering a 3 I was so happy, let's just hope it happens
10) The Croods (2013) not going to lie, I bought this for the baby singing sloth, why not
11) Green Lantern (2011) this isn't the best marvel movie but for £3 and Ryan Reynolds I'm not going to say no am I
12) Jane Eyre (2012) bought for some context to the play I'm performing in in AS drama
13) Avengers Assemble (2012) I actually bought this for my mum because I've been a pain and she's had to pick me up from late shifts at work quite a bit reccently
14) I Love You Beth Cooper (2009) sometimes a chick flick romcom is all you need
15) Edward Scissorhands (1990) I have a friend who loves all and everything Johnny Depp and she said it was good, I did feel very conflicted at this film though, didn't know whether to laugh or cry
16, 17, 18) Iron Man Trilogy (2008, 2010, 2013) purely because I love marvel and didn't own these films
19) Begin Again (2013) this is a beautiful film, it's perfect and a new favourite, watched at least every day and Mark Ruffalo
20) Thor: The Dark World (2014) mmm, Thor
21) SMASH! Season 2 (2013) an amazing show, shouldn't have been cancelled.

Primark Haul | Spring 2015

After going for a cute little Nandos I convinced my friends to come shopping with me but we only had time for primark, which is cool because that means I get to do a primark haul, how exciting.

The first thing I picked up was the hat I'm wearing on the left, I love hats so much but I've been a bit too self conscious to wear it at the minute because a friend of mine said "do people still wear fedoras or is it like a croc situation" to which I didnt know what to say, but I will wear a fedora if I want to ๐Ÿ˜‚ £7

I also picked up the softest pj pants, the only pattern they had left was leopard print but they're comfy so I won't complain too much. On a side note, does anyone else have to buy a size up to compensate for bum size? £6

I got 3 sports type things, a blue sports bra I picked this up because it was in the wrong place but when it said £4 I just sort of kept hold of it, I also got a ribbed workout top for £2 in clearance and a skipping rope for £2.50

I also got a coconut bubble bath in clearance for £1 some £4 sandle because I've never owned any sandle a before and a really pretty black dress, which they also did in white which my friend considered getting so we would match but I think she wanted to go home, another time.

A few things I didn't pick up which I wish I did were some of the candles in the home section that smelt so good, £3-5, some tan gladiator sandles, £7 (i think), the White version of the black dress, £5 a blanket cardigan, some more socks and some tan brogues but they sold out in my size ๐Ÿ˜Ÿ

Things to Look Forward to | 2015

Since not much is happening right now because let's face it, February isn't the best month in the year, I thought I'd write a post on things I have to look forward to.

I have never been to London and I've always wanted to but for reasons unknown I've just never been so I asked my favourite teacher if she'd organise a trip to London and luckily she said yes. Initially I asked if we could see assassins because Aaron Tveit is in it however legit every show has sold out (I cried) so she's taking us to see woman in black on stage in stead which should be fun. March.

Also loved S Club since I was a baby so as soon as they announced the tour, my friend and I ordered them in collage, oops. April.

Another exciting thing is the long summer after AS exams, and this year I really want to actually do stuff, get the train to the sea, explore, shop, rather than last year when I didn't do much. Summer.

Speaking of shopping, I really hope to save up enough to buy myself and iMac and get my room redecorated, I painted it orange myself when I was like 13 and now the wallpapers peeling and I split some of my bed so a new bed and room would be nice. Summer.

I TURN 18 THIS YEAR! But also a bit annoying because most my friends are babies in the year so Ill have to wait for them to turn 18 before we can do anything. October.

And finally I loved clothes show live so much last year I am determined to go again this year ๐Ÿ™ˆ it's gonna happen, trust me. November / October.

Anything you're looking forward to this year? Let me know in the comments,

Rachel xoxo

Snow Day ❄️

While I'm stuck inside with criminal minds on rather than being very cold, I thought I'd share a few pictures of the snow I've taken, while I do admit it's very pretty, it is a bit inconvenient. I couldn't get to work yesterday as it was up to my mid calf but now it's melting rapidly, how annoying, also sixthform is closed so I missed my textiles unit 1 AS deadline, but enough about that, at least I got some pretty pictures!

(After my trek home, it snowed solid for a good 3 hours)

(Waiting to be sent home)

(She didn't know I took this, sorry Kate)

(And obviously a selfie was needed!)
